Dr. John E. Sarno helped me. I had suffered chronic sciatic pain for years. This coming February 4th, 2009 will be three years that I have been free of pain. After reading just a few pages of Dr. John E. Sarnos “Mind over Back Pain” book, I learned that I was undeniably textbook, and had mistaken years of low back pain being due to falling out of a tree house when I was about 7 years old.
I was in such awe of what I had learned that before I finished reading his first book, I ran to the bookstore to purchase his other books, Healing Back Pain, and The Mindbody Prescription: Healing the Body, Healing the Pain. I can not begin to tell you the insight that I have gained through reading these books. They have honestly given me my life back.
On the cover of his most recent book, The Divided Mind: The Epidemic of Mindbody Disorders, Dr. Mehemet Oz, coauthor of You : the owners manual, states it perfectly “Dr. Sarno brilliantly explores the chasm between the conscious and unconscious minds, where psychosomatic ailments originate.”

I can not urge you enough to read any one of these books.
A life without pain may just be a few pages away for you as well.
